Thylacine

The most awesome marsupial to ever live. It had pouches on both sexes, five full toes on the front (no lame dew claw like dogs), and could jump just like a kangaroo! It had stripes on its back (from eleven to twenty one, typically). It was the best.

Sadly, when extinct in 1936 on the 7th of September due to the inaccessibility to shelter and the idiots at the Hobart Zoo.

1. Orchid Fairy. Combination of beauty, nobility and intelligence.

2. Princess 缇兰, a name meaning silky-orange orchid. Chinese fictional princess, who is calm and innocent. Princess from Zhunian kingdom, wedded to the emperor of Dazheng.

1. My daughter was born in winter so I'm probably going to call her Thylane. I hope her to be as noble and charming as an orchid.

2. - I've heard Princess Thylane of Zhunian write really great poems.
