1. Ginti may be used to describe any backwards or mixed up situation one may encounter.

2. Ginti becomes whatever you want it to be and in some cases may be reduced to "gint."

Ginti was spawned out of a daily jumble that my colleagues and I, for whatever reason, couldn't solve for the life of us. Solution = make up a new word.
Area of origin: Yay Area

Get the ginti mug.
(G•in•tea) An ancient Gaelic word, meaning “fair” or “peace” and is modernly used to describe a type of bonding or healing moment between a person and someone else they care deeply about in a stressful or negative situation, where they would talk everything out, sit in silence, share a hug, a kiss, or even share any type of embrace in reassurance that it will get better and to fix the current situation or mood.

A “Ginty” is used to help:
• calm a person in anger,

• help prevent or battle anxiety,

• assists in ending depressive episodes
• helps put an end to self-harming or self abuse (mentally)

Referring to the movie, “the Jerk Theory”, The main character sings the song, “Tell me it’s okay” and shares a Ginty with the woman in the scene, at 1:23:42 when she walks on stage and reassures him.
In that Ginty, she kissed his hand, gently released her grip and whispered her final words to him, “I’ll never let go” watching him drift slowly in to the waters below, “I’ll never let go Jack, I’ll never let go.”
