Crayfish – also called crawfish or crawdads – are freshwater crustaceans resembling small lobsters, to which they are related; taxonomically, they are members of the superfamilies Astacoidea and Parastacoidea. They breathe through feather-like gills and are found in bodies of water that do not freeze to the bottom. They are mostly found in brooks and streams where there is fresh water running, and which have shelter against predators. Embarrassment that you feel for somebody else's actions which are unconnected to anything you yourself did. (Supposedly invented by a college professor who thought there should be a word to describe the sensation) The person you feel embarrassed for is a 'craw-coiler'
They acted worse and worse and annoyed more and more people until I began wishing I hadn't brought them along. It was completely craw-coil.
