The phrase is often communicated by an individual towards the host and or guests of an event after realizing that the individual has not been invited to an invite only event.

"T4I," Patrick exclaimed obnoxiously as he walks into the room. Richard, the host of the party, is perplexed at the arrival of Patrick. Richard remembered that he did not invite Patrick and wonders how he knew about the party.
