A derogatory term used by republicans and 'true liberals' to cast shame on democrats that increase taxes and the national debt. It was first used in 1963 during a republican debate but has since been popularised by 'The Simpsons'

Someone who is addicted to obtaining money and building wealth. A money addict and fanatic. Breadheads often work more than one full-time job, and some even participate in illicit activities to "obtain the bread".
