Shurmuring

A term used to describe underachieving or lack of preparation. Often disguised as progress, Shurmuring often leads to ridicule and termination.
Uncle Tony: Boy ole Pat really has been Shurmuring the last few weeks.

Ricky: Yeah, but doesn't he always? How has he kept his job this long?

Uncle Tony: Because he has shown some significant progress
