Secesh

Another nickname and sometimes insult for the Confederate soldiers who fought for the South during the War of Rebellion from 1861-1865. See also Civil War. This name refers to how these people seceded from the Union. See also secession.

A person who isn't happy with the established order and is obsessed with revisiting a time when they imagine life was better. Often relating to Jacobean times when Scots believed the Stuarts promised nirvana and a utopian ideal. Currently the Stuarts have been replaced by Nicola Sturgeon and the SNP.

The secessionists reckon anyone who disputes their cause is a mere quisling, a misguided twat.

In bangladeshi it is a word to describe a person who is the laughing stock of others. The word literally means "tool" in bangladeshi. In textbooks the term originated from a peasant who thought smoking hashish was cool until he was sent to jail for raping a thirteen year old hermaphodite.
