burden of replying

Like the burden of proof, but for instant messaging. When two people (usually acquaintances and not close friends) are messaging each other, the burden of replying is on the person who did not send the last reply. In other words, that person is the one who has to decide whether they want to continue the conversation or not, and if they do, they must be the one to send a reply or the conversation is over (unless the other person double texts).
Mary: When's the last time you talked to Joe?
Sue: Oh, I texted him this morning but he stopped replying so I think he was busy or something. I'm just going to wait until he texts first; the burden of replying is on him, after all.
Mary: True.

i suck at replying

She leaves you on open. You ask her why. She says, “sorry i suck at replying.” Just know she’s lying and just doesn’t want to talk to you.

post-replying regret

when you post a cringe reply and instantly regret it
You : "I shouldn’t had made that post ..."
Your friend : "Don't worry, it's just post-replying regret, it's temporary"

selective replying

When those annoying girls on snap choose what to reply to and just leave you on open for 48 hours otherwise
You: Bro why does she leave me on opened sometimes but sometimes she wants to reply

Bro: Honestly she’s just selective replying at this point.

Spam-replying

A rare running gag on Twitter/X where someone replies to much on a tweet/post. It mostly occurs in the object show Twitter/X community.
Spam-replying is annoying.
A trip to a grocery store, convenience store, or gas station for the sole purpose of buying an excessive amount of junk food and sugary drinks, usually with friends. A chud run often happens late at night and ends with everyone involved hating themselves afterwards.
"Hey bro you tryna go on a chud run with me??"
