Pareidoliac 

The type of person who looks at an object and despite the context, somehow finds a way to project a completely unrelated meaning, intent, or resemblance onto that object; generally done to disparage that object or the person displaying that object.

To see a perfect example of this google: "Prada pulls products after accusations of blackface imagery"

I showed my roommate a shoop da whoop video and now she's convinced I'm racist because that face somehow "enables the ongoing oppression and dehumanization of Blacks in America for like 200 years"...err something like that. Jfc... what a pareidoliac.

Pareidolia 

Pareidolia is the phenomena of seeing faces/figures/forms in patterns; as opposed to where one normally sees faces/figures/forms (on animals including people/landscapes etc.)

Pareidolia is seeing what appears to the individual to be a representation of a face, figure, or form in the clouds, wood grain, marble, smoke, shadows, or any non-homogeneous area. It can also be an auditory phenomenon as in hearing white noise or a record played backward that sounds to the individual like words or a melody that isn't actually there.

Pyreidolia

A specific type of Pareidolia, relating to the instantaneous perception of recognizable subliminal images, within flames or a fire.

Since the beginning of mankind, we have been captivated to stare at fire. When contained, fire has always been a source of heat, light and energy. This phenomenon could be a reason, why we also find fire entertaining.

In real time these appearance of these periodic subliminal images, last only a millisecond. Only, If captured photographically, can they be shared with others, like “The Man in the Moon”, or swing bunnies in clouds.

Coined by a Famous Canadian Artist in February 2022.

Pyreidolia allows some people, to perceive recognizable subliminal images within flames.
