Harry: Cannot speak because he is being devoured.

Lucky Lupin

a crescent moon. reference to Lupin in the Harry Potter series who turns into a werewolf at the full moon, thus when the moon is not full, he is lucky.

Poor Lupin

a full moon. Reference to Remus Lupin in the Harry Potter series who is a werewolf. When the moon is full, he transforms, which is said to be painful, so when you see a full moon, you say "poor lupin". can also be used at a noun i.e. instead of saying "there's a full moon tonight," you'd say, "there's a poor lupin tonight". Sort of the opposite of a Lucky Lupin (crescent moon)

bob: Wow! look at the full moon, it's bright!
joe: yeah, but poor Lupin
or
bob: I really hope there's a poor Lupin tomorrow for the camping trip!

Lucky Lupin Moon

a moon that is not full. references the harry potter character werewolf remus lupin, who can be considered lucky when it is not a full moon and he does not become a werewolf.

Good thing it's a Lucky Lupin Moon, I don't think I can handle any werewolf drama from you tonight.
