L'chai-im

The word used in Jewish toasts, "l'" meaning "to" and "chaim" meaning "life."

Mary: L'hame everyone
Adam: No Mary, it's "l'ccchhhaim," like you've got a piece of popcorn lodged in your throat.

To life in Hebrew. A commn toast.

He raised he glass and a resounding chourus of L'chai-ims followed his, and the feast was begun. Then the germans came in and killed them all.
