Hamden Hockey is a religion, outside of a few programs ,other programs excist because of Hamden Hockey...Their coach's,players and.or Parents have some kind of connection...you can hate us, or love us, but you are always afraid to play us, especially when it counts, that my friend is what most people call "RESPECT".See you in March...

Hamden is a town full of all different people. It is predominantly middle class. The majority of kids in Hamden attend one of the many elementary schools and then move onto the middle school and the high school. The schooling system is highly frowned upon by other towns in the surrounding area such as Cheshire and North Haven. Those of the upper class will most definitely attend one of the more prestigious private schools in the area such as Hamden Hall, or even better Foote School or Hopkins located nearby in the rich neighborhoods of New Haven. Most H-Town kids are unaware of these school and think of Sacred Heart and Notre Dame as being the height of schooling, whereas they are no competition to the non-religious private schools that are much more expensive. Many white kids strive to be "preppy" but are no where as preppy as the private school crowd. The private school kids and true H-Towners are rarely together except when the private school kids are forced to attend events with them such as CCD or sports teams.

Despite everyone from other towns looking down on the schools, many H-Townies love their school. It is a school where everyone has a place. Kids from New Haven try to go there and often are looked down upon and are the source of fights and other brawl. Most kids from Hamden plan to move far away after high school, but always end up attending a public state university and then ending up right back in Hamden raising children who say the same thing.
Public school kids: Ahh! Sacred Heart is so hard! I have soo much homework and five D's!!
Private schooler: Such a typical kid from Hamden.

Queshawn: "Who are those girls? I've never seen them 'round the Glen before."
Boshai: "They must go to those private schools. They'd be better off living in a hood like Greenwich, not a dumpy town like Hamden."

The most boring town in CT. Kids all are gweedo fags who don't have anything else to do but to come to cheshire parties and start fights and get there ass kicked. Then end up ruining it because there fat chicks can't keep there mouths closed.
Hamden Kid 1: Damn dude u got ur ass kick by that cheshire kid.
Hamden Kid 2: I don't care, is my hair ok?

contrary to the other definition (written by someone who's clearly bitter and doesn't know how to spell), the hamden high boy's hockey team is the definition of class.

after 20 years of hard work and never-say-die attitudes, the boys have brought the state championship back to the town where it deserves to be and deserves to stay.

not only that, but they did it all with class. so much class that even teams they beat were rooting for them to win the championship...and that's exactly what they did.

way to go boys!
you ALL deserve it more than anything!!!

hamden's proud of you!
number one baby! 20 years later, hamden hockey is back on top!

hamden baseball is a great way to watch the great players in our youth baseball point in case the 11 yr old state championship go to notre dame of west haven. The ones who do go to hamden either make the team cuz their parents are important or they will get cut because the coach doesnt know their parents
this is why our hamden baseball team sucks

A private school in Hamden CT for students who don't aren't as snooty as Hopkins people and don't flaunt their privilege as much.
I got into to Hopkins, but everyone at Hamden Hall was nicer and more focused.
