Shorthand for "if I had a dime for every time ____." Can also be used as an adjective or noun.

1) Adj.-- Played out, overdone, common
2) N.-- An object or item which is has become old, overused, or so common that virtually everyone has it

Can also be spelled had-a-dime.
1) Man, Green Day is so haddadime. You hear them everywhere, and they're not even that good.

2) I'd read the DiVinci Code, but that haddadime is everywhere. There's no fun in reading such a mainstream book.
