Eurostat

(EU GOVERNMENT) agency of the European Union that publishes harmonized statistics for the 27 member states of the EU. The EU does not collect the statistics, but reviews and edits statistics collected by its member states so that the data is comparable for all of the countries in it.

BILL: I'm blogging about the economy of Europe, but I don't know what the economic indicators are. You know, the unemployment rate, the inflation rate, hours worked, and so on.

Eurostan

Combination of 'Europe' and 'Stan'. A word to describe someone infactuated with European culture to an unhealthy extent. Similar to terms such as 'Koreaboo'. Note that a Eurostan is not just an 'Anglophile' as it focuses on Europe as a whole.

"Hey, what happened to Gary?"
"He watched too many foreign language European films and seems to think he's now 'cultured'. He's even trying to learn Latin!"

really, really fast trains in Italy, making it the best way to get around the country!
