Dissplain

Dissplain: a portmanteau of the words "Disrespect" and "Explain".

v. The act of explaining something, esp. certain experiences and/or particular issues to a person or group of people who are more experienced or knowledgeable of said issues, (usually in a condescending, patronizing and disrespectful manner) from the perspective of one who lacks the experience and/or expertise of said issues! Dissplaining is usually done by someone with advantages, power or privilege to someone without advantages, power or privilege. This term is similar to "Mansplaining", "Femsplaining", "Whitesplaining", "Churchsplaining", etc.
Dexter sees Stella park her vehicle in a handicap zone and decided to take it upon himself to chastise her for it. Galled at his afront, Stella tries to tell him that her disability is medically related, but Dexter shoots her down immediately, Dissplaining to her that he sees no "evidence" to prove her disability, despite her license plate obviously indicating that she is!

2) The rhetorical questions people ask their dogs using baby talk as they care for them. Of course the dog can't answer, but the talk pleases their owners.

Back when I lived in upstate new york

A meaningless, unimpressive, self-serving introduction. An indicator that the story about to be shared will be pointless and dumb.
Back when I lived in upstate new york, I also had to park on the street - on two occasions, we got enough snow, mixed with just the right plowing, that my car was lifted off the ground from so much snow being jammed underneath it.

Sister: This meeting was to discuss the rough draft of my essay, where we discussed the subsidiary questions I added in my rough draft. We also discussed the relationship between my main title and the real-life situations I chose to use in my essay. We discussed the structure of my essay as well, specifically the Math AOK section and how it relates to the contradiction of the title. This second meeting was particularly helpful in discussing the implications of my essay claims and how to apply the title across various areas of knowledge. There were many sections of the essay that could have been cut down in wordiness and the ways of knowing required further and more in-depth analysis.
