Spencer has been a digimad for a while now. He's been travelling the world surfing, and making money though contract web-development.

digimagic 

digimagic is a word that describes how software transforms a photo from a digital camera into a piece of art. Simply, it is pixel manipulation.

There are no negative or positive connotations associated with the word digimagic, however, because art and beauty are very subjective, a sentence using digimagic can convey a positive or negative meaning.

I think Jim did some digimagic on the photo he is showing everyone. His fish is twice a big as it was last week when he caught it down at the lake.

--Woman: Hi, can you take a picture of my daughter holding a rose and make it black and white except for the rose.
--Photographer: Yes, and if you like, I can change the rose from red to yellow.
--Woman: Really?
--Photographer: Sure thing, it's just a couple of clicks here and there plus a little digimagic inside the computer to make it happen.

Wow, he looks better in the photo than in real life. You really performed some digimagic removing the pimples on that boy's face.

digiMao

The term digiMao (use it as a verb, noun or adjective) is a NewSpeak abbreviation for "digital maoism", whose followers believe that the people's majority can and should decide what reality is.

Sometimes ironically confused with the digiMao term "Web 2.0", the most fertile examples of this subtle populist, pseudo-democratic, anti-individualist brainsnatching are the Wikipedia, IRC, and Second Life (aka "IRC 2.0") which require the involvement of the masses to make it something more than it can never be. These online mobs of fascism define their own rules, no matter how nutjob, and eventually obsess over weeding out the brightest and least disconnected from reality so that the most insecure can feel superior in their newly founded universe.

Derived from two words "digital modification". Usually used in reference to drastically changing the appearance of an object through a process of digital photo editing.

"This is my collection of digimods."

Fred: "I made this Ford Fiesta look like an Aston Martin!"
Tom: "Now how the hell did you do that?"
Fred: "It's a digimod I made with Photoshop!"
