Deprecession

A economic recessionary period teetering on a Depression.
The collapse of the banking system in the US along with a $1 trillion in credit card debt has launched Americans into a deprecession.

deprecession

Not quite as bad as a full-blown depression, but worse than a recession. Current one started in 2008 with the implosion of the housing market.
Man, this deprecession is hell on my wallet. I had to wait in line to get a job at McDonald's!

Post-Series Depression

Also known as PSD.

It is the sadness felt after reading or watching a really long series or story. The bitter feeling when you know the journey is over, but you don't want it to end.

It is the longing for the words on the pages to move for you like they did the first time you read them. When you didn't know what the next paragraph held and the world in which the characters found themselves was entirely without limit. Because any time you re-read the story, you know that they aren't free to roam anywhere like they were before. They are stuck in a cart on a track and all you can hope for is to notice something about the scene you didn't before, and to just try to relive those feelings you had the first time around.

But it will never be quite the same.

This can apply to any series; be it a book series, TV series, an anime, comic, or even movie. The effects can also be felt after completing a stand alone piece that is not necessarily part of a series, although this isn't as common as PSD derives from the attachment one has to the story's characters.

Effects include, but are not limited to:
• A state depression or sadness
• The inability to start another story
• The need to rewatch/reread
• Excessively projecting felt love towards the internet
• Creating fan fiction
> Man, I'm so sad.
- What's up?
> I just finished watching Avatar: The Last Airbender. I feel like I lost a group of imaginary friends. :(
- Yeah, sounds like you've got post-series depression. I felt the same after Harry Potter. It'll pass in a few days. . .

Post Hardon Depression

Not to be confused with "Post Pardum Depression" which is a serious medical condition requiring treatment, "Post Hardon Depression" generally passes on it's own. It occurs for a man, following sex when he is left with that feeling of ennui, so well expressed in the Peggy Lee song, "Is That All There Is?"
Seeing Farquar's long face, George asks, 'What happen...you look like your dog just died?' Farquar replies, 'No, nothing like that, I just had great sex with my girlfriend, but now have Post Hardon Depression.' George, replies, 'Oh man, I feel your pain.'

Post-Endgame Depression Syndrome

That despondent, can't get out of bed, don't want to watch another Marvel movie again, feeling you get after seeing Avengers: Endgame and knowing that the original Marvel Cinematic Universe Saga has come to an end.
I could barely wake up for work Friday morning after seeing the new Avengers movie. The Post-Endgame Depression Syndrome is really hitting me hard.

Back when I lived in upstate new york

A meaningless, unimpressive, self-serving introduction. An indicator that the story about to be shared will be pointless and dumb.
Back when I lived in upstate new york, I also had to park on the street - on two occasions, we got enough snow, mixed with just the right plowing, that my car was lifted off the ground from so much snow being jammed underneath it.

Sister: This meeting was to discuss the rough draft of my essay, where we discussed the subsidiary questions I added in my rough draft. We also discussed the relationship between my main title and the real-life situations I chose to use in my essay. We discussed the structure of my essay as well, specifically the Math AOK section and how it relates to the contradiction of the title. This second meeting was particularly helpful in discussing the implications of my essay claims and how to apply the title across various areas of knowledge. There were many sections of the essay that could have been cut down in wordiness and the ways of knowing required further and more in-depth analysis.
