The phenomenon in which all games are being dumbed down (ruined) for the games console industry so the people who have consoles (console fags) may play these big titles.

Crysis 2 was to be a good game, now it won't be due to it being consolised.
Operation Flashpoint, Morowind, Oblivion... the list keeps growing. Al these games could have been better if they hadn't undergone Consolisation

Consolization 

A term that unifies “casualization” (from casual), with “consoles”. While in videogames “casualization” means a tendency to make things less complex and accessible to the masses, “consolization” means the “casualization” applied to games that weren’t casual before. It applies to all kind of games who become less complex because of the necessity of convert mouse to pad controls, lower on memory or graphics requeriments, or downgrade any kind of management (losses the x,y axis, big menus, scrolling inventories, auto aim, auto stats, lack of editor or mod support, etc).

Many games have lost plenty of quality due to their consolization, their predecessors were richer and deeper in each aspect but these multiplatform versions were designed limited by inferior platforms...

The french fries in the bottom of the fast food bag. Just when the disappointment sets in that you've finished your fries, you are pleasantly surprised to find a few more Consolation Fries at the bottom of the bag.

Consolation Success 

Consolation success or a consolation achievement is when you put a lot of effort and concentration into achieving something or getting better at something, and only after you've tried for so long that you begin to give up, do things start to "work out" for you. Often, it is more of a slap in the face than a happy acquisition. The consolation comes in giving you your success only because you worked yourself so hard that you gave up and life begins to feel sorry for you. God's way of playing keep away perhaps.
