To make a comic out of dynamics or experience or situation that is actually dysfunctional or not a comedic experience for onesself.

Especially with dysfunctional family roles in play, not necessarily out loud can be mentally constructed and kept to onesself,

It's often easier to comicize my mom's hurtful games rather then always be serious in reference to it.
