this is said when some one does something stupid or is doing something that needs to be stopped. it also can be used to tell someone to calm down. this reference comes from blowing the coal from a hookah. so you blow the unwanted ash off the coal.

-other person "hey this chicken taste like good chicken"

-you " wooow!!! just blow the coal"
