All is Fair in Love and War

Nothing is out of bounds when it comes to love and war. The rules of hard play are acceptable in war. In someones eye's "all is fair in love and war" in other words, in a war between love and hate, anything is acceptable or fair.

The only two areas of life in which you can be forgiven for doing anything are love and war. For example, if someone kills one of their relatives on the battlefield, it is more acceptable than murder usually. Similarly, stealing a friend's lover is seen as more acceptable if you love them, instead of say, just wanting them for money.

All is Fair in Love and War

Something which complete assholes and bitches say to condone their douchebaggery behaviour. They have no problem resorting to devious tactics to get what they want, even if what they do harms other people . The same people are likely to also use the phrase 'it's a dog eat dog world'. They believe that behaviour which is deceitful or not fair is acceptable during an argument or competition. They must win at any cost.
In order to go on a date with me, I'll trick her into believing that her boyfriend is seeing another woman.

Did you tell her lies about her boyfriend so she would hate him and go out with you instead?
Of course! All is fair in love and war.

All is fair in love and war

This very popular saying is unfortunately wrongly taught and so it continues to get passed down with a mistaken explanation. The mistaken explanation is that 'love' and 'war' are two equal things that anything can be done during and it not be considered wrong. THAT IS A FALSE DEFINITION. But understandably so,with how the quote is phrased-its very easy to see how it's been misunderstood.THIS IS THE REAL DEFINITION....'All is fair in love and war' actually means this.... During war, two people who are romntically involved go through many ups and downs. It's a terrible heartbreaking experience for both. It's an emotional rollercoaster filled with sadness, pain, anger and both stress and distress. So during this time if one or both parties decide to have an affair whether it be ongoing or just once....this is considered "fair"....because during this time of extreme pain-the distance and time apart can be almost unbearable and the need for human contact and the desire for human touch is something that everyone involved feels can be overlooked if it happens only during this time of war. The danger involved during war is so scary and brings so many emotions out that it's human narure to need someone else to "lean" on and that often leads to more. So "All is fair in love and war" actually means that an affair during combat can be overlooked and is considered both fair and forgiveable.
She longed for her husband and feared for his life. She spent the night with another man to comfort her, and kept repeating to herself...'all is fair in love and war'.

Serial Monogamist

Someone who jumps from one relationship immediately into another one.

Serial monogamists can not stand to be alone and often suffer from vast commitment and insecurity issues.

Because they jump into relationships immediately after the previous one has ended, serial monogamists typically don't take the time to reflect on their behavior or why their previous relationships failed; thus, they end up making the same relationship mistakes over and over again.
Person 1: Damn, Dustin already has a new girlfriend?! It's only been two weeks since he broke up with his fiance! I think he's a sociopath.

Person 2: No, he's a serial monogamist...
