7 A's Is Better Than 7 Friends

A Term used by the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy in 2021 to describe an ongoing controversy that "Having better grades is far more important than having a social relationship with fellow students". This quote from a fellow administrative officer led fellow students to riot on campus, believing that having a social life far outweighs having a few B's on your report card. The following year, IMSA refuted this statement and explained how having 7 friends are far better than having 7 A's, which has now left the message infamous to the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy.

Uh... I feel so tired and exhausted from school... Well at least 7 A's is better than 7 friends.

Same as "throwing a 7". In craps, this is when you are finished, or "crap out". Synonymous with dying. When someone rolls a 7, they are dead.

To die or stop living. In the dice game of craps, a shooter "craps out" when they roll a seven and all bets are cleared from the table. The end of someone's life. Past tense would be "threw a seven".

Bill: "How is your grandma doing these days?"
John: "Well she is sick now and grandpa is concerned that she might throw a 7..."

2(A-7)

The formula for the oldest aged person you can date before it is considered indecent, where 'A' is equal to your own age.

My age is 16, so using the formula 2(A-7): 2(16-7)=18. Therefore, the oldest aged person i can decently date is 18.
