This phrase stems from the more common fuck friend, however it is a more socially acceptable term. It has the same meaning but with a twist. Let’s assume friendship is like a burger meal, and the fries are like the side order, you can take them or leave them. Friends with fries are friends who skip the main meal, but like to snack on the side.

He is my friend with fries.We meet on the weekends only for a fuck.

Friend Fatigue

Comparable to metal fatigue, friend fatigue is a condition contracted by an individual from a self-centered friend as a result of that friend's endlessly repeated tales of misfortune, failure, unhappiness, or success, achievement etc. Freeloaders, depressives and comedians (people who have to make everything a joke)
are character types that are often carriers of this social virus. A person who contracts FF often will usually end up avoiding the carrier. Ironically FF carriers are immune to FF.

For 20 years now Caroline/George has had a series of disastrous love affairs. 5 minutes ago he/she called and already I am being subjected to the latest sad episode of misplaced trust, betrayal, and consequent anguish. I feel my head beginning to tighten and an urgent need to cut off the call. For Caroline/George I no longer feel anything, least of all sympathy. I am in an advanced state of "Friend Fatigue".

friend discount

1. When a "friend" asks for deeply discounted pricing on an item you are selling, essentially robbing you of money you could easily make from any average buyer, and you grant it almost exclusively because you'd feel bad if you didn't.

2. When a friend immediately demands payable the privilege of knowing him/her in the form of a discount.

"I'm selling my XBox 360 for $140 on craigslist."

"My XBox just red-ringed. Can I get a friend discount on that?"

*Pause*

"Okay, I'll give it to you for $100."

"Sweet, thanks man!"

Friend zone

noun: period marked by the feeling of disappointment, mutual awkwardness, sadness and/or recovery immediately following the romantic and/or sexual rejection by a close friend.
(AKA: The brother/sister zone)

noun: Damn... I thought for sure Suzie would reciprocate. I didn't expect to be put in the friend zone.

verb: I'd hate to friend zone Linda. She's is a nice girl, but I'm just not attracted to her at all.

This is a friends with benefits arrangement where everything goes except sex. These friends kiss, flirt and confide in each other but there is no sex. Some may or may not engage in oral sex.

friend zone

No Man's Land. The place a wuss finds himself when he attempts to get into a girl's pants by placing them on a pedestal. Ironically, this actually repulses the girl he is attempting to lay, and usually the girl finds him boring and just uses him for personal enjoyment.

I actually prefer the GF to have a guy in her friend zone. After I'm done banging her, she can go talk to him about how I don't care about her feelings, because I don't give a fuck.

Friend Consolidation

The act of taking a prearranged hang-out time with one or more friends, and folding / inviting more, previously unmentioned and usually unnaproved friends to come along. Typically this is done because the "friend consolidator" has found somebody they find more interesting to go to the same event with but don't want to break plans and be an @ss, or because they are flakey and forgot the original plans in the first place.

Person1: "Hi, this is my new and far more interesting friend, hope you don't mind if he/she tags along to your Birthday Party!"
Person2: "Of course i mind! What a shameless act of Friend Consolidation! :("
