The expression is taken from the film 'Wayne's World'. Lara Flynn Boyle's character presents Wayne with a Gun Rack as a birthday present because she is crazy. Therefore all crazy bitches are now just called "Gun Racks"

To gun it up is to proper hard task or to complete a job with efficiency of gunning extra power. Or to bodge like a dog with the sillicon gun. Also death by gun it up due to hermetically sealing humans into a non british standard room.
