The speed force is a sorce of energy that powers a speedster like flash kid flash or jay Garrick there is also the negative speed force that is the sorce fo the reverse flashes speed the speed force is very powerful it can let a speedster travel through time as well as visit different earths and of course let you travel at super speeds it has been around since the beginning of time and so far has no limits of speed.
