Noun; someone who pays astute attentive to grammar when writing or speaking. Grammar gestapo also place significant emphasis on parallel structure, word choice, use of imagery and figurative language in their writing.

My college essay tutor is a true grammar expert, and we jokingly refer to her as the grammar gestapo.

Grammarly

Writing's not that easy, but Grammarly can help. This sentence is Grammatically correct, but it's wordy and hard to read.

You know it, you hate it, it's that ad you dread to see. We can all recite the entire ad because we have seen it too many times. However, 9 year olds who discover the internet are seriously in need of it.

Watch out for the GRAMMARLY ADS, they are out to get us.

Hmmm, I wonder what advert will interrupt my precious viewing time.

Grammar Nazi

Someone who preys on people on the internet, particularly their language skills, despite the fact the person's first language may not be english or they might even have an intellectual disability, impairment or even dyslexia. All this to boost their own ego - The worst kind of nazi.

Greg (Grammar nazi): "I believe you are mistaken! I, with my superior intellect, have discovered an error in both your writing AND your wit! You will find with ample research and a quick rifle of your nearest DICTIONARY, that the correct contraction you are seeking is they're!"

Bob (sane, normal, non-sociopathic human): 'fuk off grg"
