To be shipkilled or podkilled by a large fleet of ships on EVE Online. It almost always happens in low security and it is often small, cheap ships that are participating, and is always purely 'for teh lulz'.

I jumped into Amamake to find a gank fleet of Reapers. Ganked before I could say "Warp Drive Active!"

In dota, a popular wc3 custom game it is when a 1 or more players uses the shadows to get behind an enemy and "gank" them. It is more of a suprise attack from behind usually having a group of people and resulting in total pwnage of the noob being ganked.

The noob was way into enemy territory so i ganked him giving me a godlike killing spree.
