domestic blindness

Trying to look for something, an item (anywhere, usually in the house) ..but you can't find it, so you ask your spouse for help. Upon asking your spouse for help, the spouse points to the item that you were looking for, which is usually standing right in front of your face.

After your spouse points to the item you were looking for, and it happens to end up being right in front of your face, you exclaim something like,

"Oh! I must've had a case of Domestic Blindness!!"

If you are well paired with your partner, your spouse will usually LMFAO, together with you.

Domestic Violence Method

When a person (usually a woman) makes false allegations of rape, domestic violence or child abuse to gain leverage in Family Court or alienate the other parent from the children. Making false allegations of domestic violence allows the accusers to obtain Domestic Violence Orders, which they use to stop the other parent having contact with their children. Accusers may also obtain free Legal Aid, free community housing etc

Father : I haven't seen my kids in 2 years because the courts banned me when Sally said I was a psychopathic child molestor.

Friend : really bro? Sounds like she really put the Domestic Violence Method into effect.

Domestic deafness

A condition similar to that of domestic blindness, again usually affecting the males of the household. Largely effects teenagers also. It is when someone repeats themself over and over and the other party does not respond. It's like talking to a brick wall!

Domestic deafness is when a wife gently asks her husband: "Darling, can you please put on some washing?

Male: No response, (most likely staring at the football game).
"... darling?"
"...darling?"
"OI YOU!"

Finally a response: "Oh! Sorry. What?"
