Teen brains are the kind of brain that you once had during the onset of puberty until as late as your 20th birthday. This kind of brain makes the newly sexually active teen seek emotionally charged activities, thus increasing risk-taking behavior. Furthermore, MRI devices has also revealed that while the adults were using their prefrontal cortex to understand the expressions, teens were using their amygdala. The amygdala is responsible for inducing emotions and impulses, not logic and rational reasoning. In conclusion, while it is true that the size of our brains doesn’t change much beyond our 6th birthday, its under-the-hood workings are not done developing until the age of 25.
During my teen years, my brain was all about impulse and emotion; I often made decisions based on how I felt instead of thinking them through—classic teen brain behavior!

Get the teen brainmug. Normally of the color purple and pink when on a poster or writing. An individual who behaves with rude attitude and with an inclination to rebel against the older, wiser community. When in trouble, they turn into their over-protective parents or Snapchat and are likely to have a pj party with their girls, equipped with flashlights and maybe a hidden bottle of champaign. The party involves crying, pillow fighting, getting "drunk", and dancing with each other and maybe some potential licking.
Yo man, ya boy/wing man Ryan from The Ranch. Good meeting you tonight sir. How'd it go? I ended up being cock-blocked by a bunch of teens. Let me know when you roll out next.

Get the teenmug. noun /ˈaɪ.rə.ni ti n/
A digitally native teenager or young adult (typically 16-23) whose online persona is built on performative irony, detached humor, and carefully curated "chaotic" behavior. Irony-teens communicate primarily through layered sarcasm, absurdist memes, and meta-commentary that signals cultural literacy while maintaining emotional distance. They often adopt exaggerated personas or "bit" accounts that blur the line between genuine expression and performance art.
