To talk in an exaggerated New York/Long Island accent, saying words with long vowel emphasis such as coffee becoming cwaufee and dog becoming dowg. Done in imitation of Mike Meyer's character Linda Richman from Coffee Talk sketches on Saturday Night Live. Yiddish terms might be thrown in to enhance the imitation.
Used to add expression or flavor into a sentence, commonly with words that have long vowels, coffee talk is the addition of a New York or Long Island accent with Yiddish words thrown in for fun.
