Yugh (oil)

Pronounced ˈjuɣ coming from the Armenian word իւղ meaning oil.

While used in slang, it means a type of joke that no one would ever expect to exist and is outside the realm of common sense.

While usually not funny in itself, the punchline is that the joke is so unexpected that it becomes hilarious to the listener. When someone tells you a yugh joke in persian, they say you're "burning oil" (روغن سوزاندن)

What separates a yugh joke from a samm (سم) joke is the natural response to a yugh joke: “But why?” (Why does this joke even exist?)

Arnold Schwarzenegger playing a man that becomes pregnant in the movie Junior is very yugh.

Revenge of the Sith memes are extremely yugh like the ones about the high ground.
