Not to be confused with a natural accent as it's a technique learned by adult women to express a very submissive tone, mainly towards their male companion. It's a signal towards men around them that they know, like their children, they aren't at all equal in the family dynamic. So she relinquishes away most of the responsibilities and decision-making to their other half of the married relationship.
