cakage fee

The fee a restaurant charges to cut and serve a cake when you bring the cake to the restaurant yourself. Similar to the corkage fee to open and serve your own bottle of wine.

We were surprised that the restaurant charged a $22 cakage fee at our daughter's birthday party.
