Not clipping your toenails for an extended period of time (this applies specifically to men) so that they become long, pointy and troll-like in appearance.

David: Hey, how come you're clipping your toenails, don't you think that's kind of femenine?

Adam: I'm cutting them not clipping them, and no it's not femenine it's just hygenic and taking care of your appearance. Besides I'd rather clip them than end up with "Troll Toes" like yours.

Abuse staff, administrators, moderators, GMs, curators, or others who have banning power on online communities or users who report trolls on such communities to them.

Sometimes refers to all ownership or longtime participants on small communities, or to "abuse" or "community management" personnel on larger sites.

Don't bother reasoning with someone named HitlersSweetie, just report it and let the troll patrol handle it.

Troll Catalyst 

A person who, in spite of their intentions, will act as a catalyst or "troll food" by calling out a troll in the act of trolling.

Person 1 aka The Troll: "I think The Beatles is totally overrated and utterly useless as musicians"

Person 2: "You gotta be kidding! The Beatles has created countless hits - more than any other bands! That alone is proof of their great achievements"

troll baiting 

Troll baiting is the act of giving yourself or your argument credibility by intentionally martyring yourself by picking fights with extremist nut jobs who oppose you or your argument. The last thing a troll baiter wants is to come up against someone who is calm, intelligent, passionate and highly informed on the subject who can easily blow holes in their argument without getting vulgar or making personal attacks.

The minister was just troll baiting when he protested the sinfulness of dancing at a nightclub in a bad neighbor hood instead of the university dance department down the road because he could get more supporters by being a victim than by being wrong.
