core on the floor

noun Used to describe a situation when there's been a nuclear meltdown at a power generating facility. Derives from the state where the reactor core has fallen out of its protective shell (a critical situation).
It's a variation on the urban term four-on-the-floor.

Last we heard (and still being blacklisted by the international mass media), Fukushima was still going core on the floor.

Cottage Core

An alternative aesthetic for those weird girls who think they're living in a magically fairy fantasy. They try to be cute and quirky but are just weird and act like grandmas by knitting. They think they're so different by obsessing over mushrooms 9which are probably poisonous) but they're just basic.

Lily: OMG! I am literally so cute in my cottage core themed clothes!
Nancy: You literally knitted that jumper, it's so cute! And I love your mushroom earrings!

Frat Core

A subgenre of a college lifestyle. Coined at Cornell university It is used to describe the aesthetic of events, attire, surroundings, and personalities that are unique to frat culture. Some examples may include dirty white sneakers with formal wear, post-darty naps, empire state of mind, school bus transportation, brawls over entry, cheap vodka handles, niche drinking games, pregaming at 7 am.

lexia core 5

A website that claims to teach kids “reading” but instead makes some kids rage in madness. There’s Lexia making kids rage because it won’t save their answers for some reason, but at least it gives you certificates for completing each level. The most special certificate is the one where are you completed the last level of Lexia Core5. Then you put it somewhere that's safe. later it crumbles a lot or a little bit so it’s basically a piece of trash now even though it’s a certificate. for you it might not be a piece of trash but for me, it’s basically a piece of trash. It’s also living hell and it doesn’t really teach you a lot about reading. it didn’t really teach me about reading but I did pass through most of the levels. “And yes, I use Lexia Core5 for some reason, don’t ask me why.”

Teacher: Time for Lexia!!!!!!
Student: AUGHHHHHHHHHHHH NOOOOOO PLEASE NOOOOOOOO
Student 2: *gets a 4x4, RPG, and a shotgun and shoots chromebook*
