cap hacking is a phrase first used by gamers of the tf2 community during the bot crisis. When people would reset the server on certain casual maps that have been running a long time people often referred to this as cap hacking. As it would reset the ban list of the server after the round had ended and allow all bots/cheaters who have been vote kicked / banned during the duration of the server to join again.

Get the [DO NOT HACK] mug.Earthbound Halloween Hack is a game (an earthbound hack) created by Toby "Radiation" Fox using the program PK hack in 2009 for a Starmen.net's Halloween Funfest. Its protagonist, Varik, comes from another game called Brandish. In short, Varik is given a mission to hunt down the moster that killed the girl's parents during night. The hack is overwhelmingly hard and requires a lot of grinding, and Toby himself is not fond of it. In his deleted twitter post, he called it a "Bad romhack with swears" and asked to not bring it up.
I myself would highly recommend everyone to play it, as this is an opportunity to see how greatly Toby advanced as a writer, compositor and game developer since then.
