Those who want true freedom and don't want to harm anyone nor want government dictating their lives.
Phoney "modern" liberals stole this name in order to sound like they have a just cause, which of course is not true.

Classic Liberals are trying to make things a better place. Some people now call them Conservatives, but they aren't always the stuff starched shirt types.
Modern "liberals" are evil people who belong to groups like NAMBLA.

In modern American terminology, a liberal is one who falls to the political left on most issues. These people, although good citizens, seem to enjoy muckraking and slandering most of the time. They say they like America and her laws and policies, but they end up just protesting, which is ok, but they tend to do it negatively. Overall, the modern use of the word liberal is just an insult, such as calling one a jackass, which, coincidentally, is the Democratic Party's symbol.

That guy listens to phish records, smokes pot, and is a public nuisance. He must be a liberal.

A selfish and self centered person that tries to take the rights of other law abiding citizens away. These types of people are very close to terrorists, if they aren't already. Liberals cause anarchy to spread confusion in an attempt to ruin the lives of innocent people.

Liberals are people holding a political theory based on an idealist view of human nature. They continuously attempt to orchestrate government in an effort to create what they believe will be a fair society. Unfortunately, because life is not fair, their very optimism most often means they are incapable of the pragmatism or practicality necessary to make their plans workable, resulting in dystopian consequences which they traditionally blame on conservatives.
