Receiving a bad (usually worst) outcome undeservedly.

True story: You need a 70% overall to pass an exam with four questions.
Question 1: 70%
Question 2: 85%
Question 3: 85%
Question 4: 85%
Student does not receive a Pass because Question 1 was significantly lower than the other three questions.

In this case the student is getting fucked over as the rules are not implied in this case, due to some fuck face on the grading committee deciding to come up with their own rule.
