When you work at a company for so many hours a day and a rather lengthy duration that you no longer are aware of things going on in the world you, at least, physically occupy.

When you have to work on a Saturday or Sunday without extra pay or comp time due to a ridiculous task having to be done ASAP.

A new movie just came out that you would normally be interested in but have no idea of its existence, although it has been widely advertised. You just got nextjumped.

a state of mind describing the period of time following a MDMA experience in which all you can think about is how much fun you had while on ecstasy and about the next time you will do it again.

Kid 1 - "Wow I've never had so much fun in my whole life at that concert the other night!"
Kid 2 - "Yea we were rollin pretty hard and dancing awesome"
Kid 1 - "I know man I'm in nextasy right now..
Kid 2 - ...all you can think about is how much fun you had and the next time you'll do it? Yea me too."

Nexting

In the world of on line dating where it’s so easy to check out the next person, it becomes easy to move on to the next person, the next date. In the online dating world this becomes “nexting”.

That guy has been on that on line dating sight forever. He dates one person for a while and next thing you know he’s out with the next person he met on line. I think he’s addicted to nexting.

Gay Next Door

A gay guy that's generally effeminate but not as flashy as richer west coast gays. The gay next door is a mid-western/Southern species that tends to be naive, idealistic, and slightly more conservative. Think Chris Colfer from Glee, Trixie Mattel out of drag, or the one gay teenager you went to High School with who was middlingly popular. They're good to have around because they're wholesome enough as not to scare the straight people. He's the type to go on a Grindr date and start wedding planning the next day.

I went on a second date with the Gay Next Door and he asked me what we were to each other.
