RuBP

RuBP is the short form for one of the intermediates in the Calvin cycle: Ribulose 1,5-bisphosphate
Rubisco (an enzyme) catalyzes the reaction of RuBP with Carbon Dioxide in a process known as carbon fixation. This forms 2 molecules of glycerate 3-phosphate (GP). GP then further goes onto be reduced to triose phosphate and RuBP is generated again

Student Doctor: Didn't you learn doctor?! It's the short form of Ribulose 1,5-bisphosphate!
