Commonly spelled as "googledyskongers", this term is used to show any negative or manic feelings regarding the unknown release of Hollow Knight: Silksong, typically referring to how someone is going mad.

History:

Mid 20th century googol; 1 followed by 100 zeroes-> 1996 Google

2023 Google debunker; one who does all of their research by simply looking something up -> 2023/2024 googledebunker or googledybunker

Ancient Greek sēres; those who come from the land of silk -> Latin sericus -> Late Latin sericum -> Old English sioloc, seolec -> modern English silk; a fine, strong, soft lustrous fibre produced by silkworms in making cocoons and collected to make thread and fabric

Old English & German sang + Dutch zang + English sing -> modern English song; a short poem or other set of words set to music

"In land of silk and song" -> Silksong -> simplified skong

Googledybunkers +skong -> googeldeskongers
"I'm going fucking googledyskongers."
