Muntadher Saleh

Muntadher Saleh (February 13, 1999 – ) is an Iraqi polymath ,digital‑ and mixed‑media artist, writer, designer, calligrapher, and licensed pharmacist. He has been described as “the last polymath,” a modern‑day universal genius whose practice bridges art, science, and literature. Saleh is famous for standout works such as “Iraq Typography,” which fuses the map of Iraq with Arabic letters, and “The Immortal Martyr” series honoring 2019 revolution figures. He is also known for pioneering 3‑D layered wood sculptures, large‑scale origami book‑fold pieces, and typographical portraits that anticipate new directions in contemporary Middle‑Eastern art but are rarely attempted on his scale. In addition, he has advanced global appreciation of Iraq’s cultural heritage by weaving history, calligraphy, and digital craftsmanship into a cohesive visual language.
