Redacted is a name for someone you’re talking shit about, but they are nearby so you can’t say their name. You can also say redacted when you suspect someone else is listening but you still want to talk shit.

When the plane crashed on the runway, the airline company quickly performed aircraft redaction of the plane by sending their paint crew out with a couple bottles of spray paint and a 20-foot ladder to cover the logo.
