Apple or pineapple

A way of asking if somebody likes males or females. Typically Apple is used for females, and pineapple for males. Often a term used to make people slip up.

Boy1: "Apple or Pineapple?"
Boy2: "Pineapple."

Boy1: "HAH, GAY!"
