Matthias Moment

There are two types of Matthias moment, just like there are two types of diabetes.

A 'Type 1' Matthias moment is when you are accidentally really mean/rash towards someone.

A 'Type 2' Matthias moment is when you are accidentally really creepy/seedy towards someone.

Type 1 - "Oh I was such a prick to David. That was such a Matthias moment, Type 1"

Type 2 - "Oh I had such a Matthias moment, Type 2, with Matt; he said 'In you go baby!'"

When one says or does something weird/annoying/cringe/unfunny, is informed of the weird/annoying/cringe/unfuniness, acknowledges it, and yet continues with the said weird/annoying/cringe/unfunny thing.

when something very stupid (like butter) happens that makes you think, "how can a real person be this retarded"? one who commits a "butters moment" usually has a feeling equivalent to going on a trip far away from home, and once you get there you realize you forgot something very important.
