When one party presents a truth or an uncomfortable sentiment in a deadpan or neutral manner and the other party reacts with amusement in order to ease the tension or awkwardness

Person 1: If Jesus came back, how would he feel about the commercialization of the cross he died on?

Yigiter Effect

The Yigiter Effect refers to a social phenomenon where one person’s constant flaking, cancelling plans, or avoiding commitments begins to influence the behaviour of others around them. Over time, people in the same social circle start adopting the same habit of flaking because it becomes normalised or expected within the group.

In simple terms, it’s when one serial flaker indirectly trains everyone else to start flaking too.
