Phuza Wednesday

Said (poo-zah)

As 'phuza' is the traditional zulu term for drink, it follows that 'phuza Wednesday' is the act of drinking (most commonly binge drinking) on a Wednesday night. and can be applied to any night of the week really.

This has become a burgeoning tradition among South African youth, a mini weekend on a wednesday

"Let us go and make a PhuZa wednesday with the Sunday Punchers"

Hat Wednesday falls on the Wednesday prior to Thanksgiving. This holiday is celebrating by pelting Michael(s) with hats, in order to generate an appetite appropriate for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Dude, I bought like 14 hats for Hat Wednesday. Michael is going to get it this year.

As women age, the often get sharp dark hairs on and around their chins (like a wicked witch ;). This phrase can be useful in remembering to check and then pluck said hairs. Every Wednesday, check for stray hairs.

If you remember Witch Wednesday, you'll never catch a surprise hair while you're out in public and can't do anything about it.

Unnecessary Wednesday

When you go out on a Wednesday and end up drinking more than you probably should have. Part of you feels like it was not necessary but it was, otherwise you would have waited until at least Thursday.
