Get the BUFFmug. A term that refers to the wearing of Cartier's Buffalo eyeglasses, a contemporary eyewear that is refined, striking, and unique. The term and eyewear were made popular by hip-hop artists in Detroit, MI and stems from the city's flamboyant underworld culture. Buffalo horn, used in some of Cartier's most expensive eyeglass design material, is a natural material that offers a variety of tones to give each frame a special character. For the Buffalo eyewear, Cartier uses natural horns with unique patterns from South America and Asia.
