Trapped with no where to go. You ever walk through deep mud? It's very easy for your foot to get vacuum-locked in the mud. People call this getting "mud sucked". The term is used as a metaphor some times.

In the Seal Team series season 5, episode 6, before entering a Conex box when an enemy attack was imminent, Jason said to Ray: "Hold security here, I don't want to get mud sucked"
