an unsuccessful person or thing
Politics:
-An elected official whose power is reduced because the person who will replace them has already been elected
-A person who still has time to serve in an elected position despite not being elected again in a recent election, with the result that the person has no real power.
-Examples-
---Finally, highly fractionalised parties in government enervated the authority of the executive and rendered prime ministers vulnerable to the problem of the lame duck.

Another name for Bob chapeks latest money grab called a lightning lane. Bob Chapek renamed the fastpass lane to this after he renamed annual pass to magic key. He thinks I will pay 20 dollars so I can ride Matterhorn once only to wait in standby for a second time because I can’t have more than one per ride. And how am I supposed to ride midway mania? Wait in standby after I used my one fastpass I paid for? Chapek stop smoking pixie dust.

The next time some Shaggy from Scooby Doo looking mofo tells you "you're lame" Thank him and tell him "You're obviously a coder."
Lame- now considered a compliment when used under CIS jargon definition of a software coding model.

Something that so-called cool people will call you when they think how you are and/or what your interests are don't measure up to popular opinion or what their personal standards are. They will call you "lame" when in reality, you're just original and you are not afraid to be yourself and pursue a course that makes you who you are.
